Measuring and Fitting Your Perfect Fit Venetian Blinds

Step 1

In order to have Perfect Fit blinds you window must have NO dividers. See image for details.

Step 2

Is the seal of you window 6mm or less? If so your window is suitable for Perfect Fit blinds.

Step 3

Is there a gap of 6mm or greater between the window bead and any obstructions? An obstruction could be a window handle for example.

Step 4

Measure the width of your window in 3 places. Then measure the drop of your window in 3 places. Ensure you are measuring seal to seal for both width and drop. Write down the shortest measurement.

Step 5

And finally, measure the depth of your window from the glass to the face of the window frame. To take this measurement simply place a credit card across the corner of the window frame (see image for details) then use a metal tape measure to measure the depth of your frame (this measurement is normally around 18mm, 20mm or 24mm). This measurement is needed for choosing the correct bracket size.
